REMIX ‘What A Wonderful World’

‘What A Wonderful World’ is one of 2008’s biggest dance anthems. The white-hot joint release from house music titans Axwell and Bob Sinclar features Ron Carroll on vocals, has been championed by Zane Lowe and Pete Tong, and is currently playlisted across Radio 1, Capital, Kiss, Galaxy, and beyond.

In association with Xpressbeats.com and Pioneer, Positiva Records and Defected are giving budding remixers the chance to remix ‘What A Wonderful World’. So, if you want to put your own spin on this highly original dancefloor cut, simply go to www.Xpressbeats.com where you can download the remix competition bundle pack - alongside the original mix, for that all important referencing! The pack contains vocal, lead, bass, drum & effects parts, as well as competition rules and entry upload instructions.

Remix bundles will be available exclusively at www.Xpressbeats.com from 28th September and the competition will be open for 4 weeks. Completed remixes should be uploaded as a 320kbps MP3 to a dedicated competition website, details of which will be included in the competition bundle, as well as on the Xpressbeats, Defected and Positiva websites.

The winner will be selected by a panel of judges including Axwell, Bob Sinclar and representatives from both of the labels. The winning mix will then be made available across Xpressbeats (with front page promotion), included on leading club promotions disc from the CD Pool, and be the focus of a PR drive announcing the winners details; great exposure for any up and coming producer looking to break into the big time! The winner will also receive a Pioneer DJM 700 mixer. Product details via link below:
